Runner Guidelines

  • Runners must review all information before registering
  • Apply for only one race category: 10K or 5K
  • Registration only available online through provided links
  • Application details cannot be edited once submitted
  • For corrections, email leopauljeevanesan@gmail.com
  • Open to participants aged 14 years and above
  • Physically fit individuals only - basic fitness advised

Bib Collection

  • Runner Kit distributed with prior information
  • In-person collection mandatory for all participants
  • Bring registration confirmation and photo ID
  • Representative collection allowed with proper documents
  • Required: Registration confirmation for each runner
  • Government-approved photo ID of runner and representative

Important Policies

Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances
  • Race day photos will be reviewed for compliance
  • Runners without assigned bibs will be disqualified
  • Legal action may be taken for impersonation
  • Event terms may be amended without prior notice

When does registration close?

Registration is closing very soon as spots are extremely limited and filling up faster than expected. To guarantee your place in this important event, we strongly recommend registering now before it's too late!

What is the Salute Marathon about?

The Salute Marathon is a community-driven event focused on raising awareness about women's safety and drug prevention. It's more than just a race - it's a movement that brings together people from all walks of life to champion these important social causes through the power of sports and collective action.

When and where is the event taking place?

The Salute Marathon will take place on August 9, 2025, at Island Grounds, Chennai.

What are the registration fees?

Registration fees are ₹333 for the 5K race and ₹555 for the 10K race. Both packages include a race kit

What is included in the race kit?

Your race kit includes a high-quality dry-fit t-shirt with safety messaging, a race bib with your number, a finisher medal, digital participation certificate, breakfast, and access to medical support throughout the event.

Can I change my race category after registration?

Category changes are allowed up to 7 days before the event, subject to availability and payment of any price difference. Please contact our organizers at the numbers provided to make changes to your registration.
